A Friend's Visit to U2's Joshua Tree

Wessling took the photos on this page during two separate journeys to the tree. While visiting the tree in April 2002, Wessling shot the following images using AGFA Scala, a black and white transparency film. He also visited the tree after a snow storm in February 2001. Despite my unwillingness to divulge the exact location of the tree, Wessling was able to find it using clues I disclosed from my photo essay. Scroll down and enjoy Wessling's incredible images.
